Community Service Program Helps Sunset Park Families Celebrate Thanksgiving

This Thanksgiving, Center for Family Life's Community Service Program provided holiday food baskets for 86 families in need.

Thanksgiving baskets were made possible by donations from the community, and all of us at Center for Family Life extend our great thanks to everyone who donated turkeys and canned goods, including:

Assemblyman Felix Ortiz
Councilwoman Sara Gonzalez
Seafield Services
Lutheran Medical Center
Bishop Kearney High School
Fort Hamilton High School
Our Lady of Perpetual Help

Special thanks to the students and families who participated in food drives at PS 1 and PS 503/506 Beacon Programs, and the many volunteers who helped package and distribute Thanksgiving baskets!
